The idea and concept for Storyplanet was conceived by Bjarke and developed into what you see today over the past three years. Before Bjarke launched Storyplanet he co-founded Magnum In Motion. He is also the producer of several award winning online documentaries, and author of the book The Digital Storyteller. Bjarke frequently lectures and conducts workshops in digital storytelling.

CTO, Pete Barr-Watson
Pete oversees development of the vital technical platform. He is something as rare as a superb engineer who is passionate about design and content. He was co-founder of one of the first flash agencies and co-author of 'New Masters of Flash 2002'. He is a frequent speaker at flash conferences and tech events worldwide, and a two-time jury member at Prix Ars Electronica. Pete came to Storyplanet from a senior position at Microsoft. He is an avid photographer in his spare time.

Chairman, Joichi Ito
Thanks to the funding and expertise of Joi, in less than a year Storyplanet went from a bunch of wireframes, sketches and design drafts, to the online entity you see today. Joi is behind several successful startups and is currently spending about half of his time on new business venture and the other half on non-profit projects.
